Alabama WR Bell Quits Team for 6 Hours

September 4th, 2013| by

On Tuesday, Alabama WR Kenny Bell announced via Twitter that he was leaving the team in order to take care of his children.

Bell actually seemed to get a positive response from people who respected his decision to put his family ahead of his football career. Evidently, Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban didn’t share that sentiment.

Saban announced that Bell took Tuesday as a “personal day” and would be back with the team Wednesday. Sure enough, less than six hours after saying he was done, Bell was back.

The scariest man in college football strikes again.
