Ex-DI Forward Hits World Record Shot

November 15th, 2013| by

Corey Law made a name for himself at High Point University as a rebounder (his 693 boards are the second most in school history). Now, however, he’s in a much more widely-known record book because of his shot-making ability.

A rookie with the Harlem Globetrotters, “Thunder Law” (his new stage name) set a Guinness World Record on Thursday by sinking a shot from 109 feet, 9 inches – besting the previous mark by five inches.

Until learning about this, we never realized that those long-distance shots upon which Dude Perfect built their reputation were not recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records.

What a shame.
