Hyde Punched Cop’s Daughter in Face?

July 22nd, 2013| by

Ohio State RB Carlos Hyde’s college football-playing future is very much in doubt after he allegedly punched the daughter of a Columbus, OH, police officer in the face early Saturday morning.

Spiegel, an anchor/reporter at Fox 8 News in Cleveland, also reported that spokespeople from OSU plan to discuss a weekend “incident” later on Monday. Speculation is rampant that Hyde — from whom big things were expected in 2013 after he rushed for 970 yards and 16 TDs a year ago — will be booted off an Ohio State squad that’s almost universally expected to be the nation’s preseason No. 2 team.

We only need one guess to speculate what the dominant storyline of the 2013 Big Ten Media Days on Wednesday will be.
