Ninth Grade Phenom Commits to LSU
September 23rd, 2013| by Lost Lettermen
Dylan Moses only recently began his high school career at University Lab High in Baton Rouge, LA, yet the ninth-grader has already (for now) decided to play college football down the road at LSU.
“Just committed to LSU #GeaxTigers!!” Moses tweeted on Sunday night (He meant to tweet “Geaux Tigers,” but there’s time to work on that).
The 6-foot-1, 215-pound phenom who already runs a 4.46 40 first became a subject of natural interest when Alabama head coach Nick Saban offered him a scholarship in February, shortly after the Crimson Tide’s most recent national title. At the time, Moses was still in middle school. The running back and linebacker is widely regarded as the top overall recruit in the Class of 2017 since, you know, we’ve never heard of any other players in the Class of 2017. The 15-year old picked LSU over Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Ole Miss, Nebraska, UCLA and Texas.
Saban – and every other head coach in the country – now has four whole years to convince Moses not to stay home for his college career.
