OSU Players Console Grieving Anchor

The early leader for “Most Heartwarming Gesture of the 2013 College Football Season” is Ohio State for the manner in which they welcomed Dom Tiberi – the sports director of the CBS affiliate in Columbus – back to work.
Tiberi had been on leave from work since the September 17th death of his 21-year-old daughter in a car accident. (He returned to the anchor desk last Thursday.) After the Buckeyes’ 31-24 victory over Wisconsin on Saturday, dozens of OSU players gave Tiberi a “welcome back” hug as they exited the field at Ohio Stadium. The Buckeyes also wore “MT” helmet decals during the game to honor Maria Tiberi.
Even Ohio State haters would be hard-pressed not to get goosebumps watching this.
