OU, UT Get Gold-Trim Rivalry Jerseys

There’s going to be some extra shine to this year’s edition of the Red River Rivalry between Oklahoma and Texas on Saturday.
Both the Sooners and the Longhorns will take the field at the Cotton Bowl wearing jerseys on which the numbers are bordered by a gold trim. (Texas has also revealed gold trim on its cleats, which we assume OU will also sport.)
It’s all a nod to the Golden Hat, the golden replica of a 10-gallon cowboy hat that the teams compete for every year. And on both burnt orange and crimson, it looks pretty sharp. Grade: B+
