SEC Football: Fan Puts Johnny Manziel Jersey on Bear Bryant Statue (PHOTO)

August 11th, 2014| by

Hell hath no fury like Crimson Tide fandom after a defacing of the Bear Bryant statue. May we suggest the culprit of this particular gesture enter witness protection.

In this instance, someone of the Aggie persuasion adorned the statue of the legendary ‘Bama coach with a Johnny Manziel A&M jersey.

Paul Bryant was actually also Texas A&M’s head football coach from 1954-57. In fact, he coached the Aggies’ first Heisman winner (John David Crow) before Manziel won in 2012.

We’re guessing the “Junction Boys” part of Bryant’s career isn’t exactly celebrated in Tuscaloosa.
