TCU Installs Awesome FB Stadium Statue

March 24th, 2013| by

When TCU fans make their way to Amon G. Carter Stadium this fall for Horned Frogs home games, they’ll be greeted by an awesome new statue of the school’s one-of-a-kind mascot.

Standing eight feet tall, the statue — which was unveiled Saturday — depicts a horned frog perched atop a sunburnt rock glaring imposingly at whoever dares to make eye contact with it. Stare at it from the right angle and you’d swear that it was about to attack you.

The level of detail and lifelikeness that went into this statue is very admirable – and very befitting a program that wants to show it’s worthy of inclusion amid the Big 12’s established football powers.
